I want a efi engine in my vk, what is the best solution do i, a)update the old carb engine to an efi or b) replace the engine with a VN-VT engine
What are the pros and cons of each (power, cost, pollution standards, etc) and what would you recommend.
If i replace the engine which model would be the better engine (ie Vn, Vt) :confused

So u have a calais without efi, thats funny, or maybe your talkin bout another car,
but anyway, u have to indicate how much money you have to spend
How much money do u have.

sorry i forgot to mention, i am talking about holden v8s. Thus no efi on the calais. Money i looking at about 3000-4000 spent on the engine, but i want to get the most i can out of that
Why not put an injected RB30 motor or even the turbo version into it?

what abt keeping the 308, putting VN efi heads on it, costs less than $1750 (price of a kit from the trading post) so you could get it stroked while your at it....
