Brisbane Motor Show 2002

Hey is anyone going to the Brisbane Motorshow? Feb 8th - 17th at the Convention and Exhibition centre. A friend of mine and myself are planning to go on Wednesday the 13th.

What suburb of Brisbane is the Exhibition and Convention centre?? Anywhere near Cleveland/Redland Bay area??
I'll be up there on the 10th maybe, wouldnt mind looking at some of these newer cars.

no where near it Wattsy. Its where the Streetmachine & Hot Rod show is/was. Just north of the city.

Actually the convention centre is at South Bank :) On the other side of the river from the city.

Well I wouldn't mind meeting up with some people, and I think the date my friend and I have set is quite flexible.

the last 2 times i've gone they didn't have a porsche stand, although i met allan moffat.

i might go and see the redex stuff, but i don't know if it's worth the entry fee

got there and the car park under the exhibition centre was on fire
an energex switchboard had blown up or whatever
