Was there a cruise on last night?

I was on George Street and about 11.30pm, saw a heap of modded cars (including about 6 200SX's) coming down George Street.....there were cops on either side of the road and they seemed to be pulling cars over to inspect them

Did they find out about a cruise route or something???

Just curious
