There's a show and shine out at Tarampa State School on this Sunday 17th I think it is. I'm going out and putting my car in the show for something to do and just wondering if anyone else is going out there. It's 20mins past Ipswich in the Lockyer??? Valley. If any one is heading out there it would be good to meet up with some of you!

I ended up going out whoop whoop!!! It was alright nothing spectacular, they had 95 entries which filled the school oval nicely. Put my car in the sound off and came home with a trophy. They loved my custom (did it myself) setup and presentation of the system so can't complain with 127dB.
My Mum's the Principal of Eagleby South State School (Near Beenleigh) so they are going to do a similar Show & Shine and Sound Off I think September or so. Hope to see a few of you there. I'll post more details about it when I get them.

Cool, sounds good about the Eagleby School show. Just a note, the Ameican cruisers club (Eliminators i think they call themselves) has a show at Beenliegh in September at the showgrounds....so be careful that the dates dont clash so as you can get the maximum amount of entrants.
Its good these schools are using show n shines as fundraisers, not only does it give us somewhere to 'show off' our hobby, it also shows the community that car enthusiasts arent all bad like the local media in South East Queensland potray us and will help out with local charities.
