most likely gonna go out to calder on the 8th march for the street drags (providing the weather ain't shit). Anyone here from PF gonna run/or goes regulary?
Me and a few other Guys in here try to go and have a look every so often.
But is a 2+ Hour trip for most of us here in Eastern Vic so we dont go all the time!!
Where abouts in the eastern 'burbs are you? it's about a 2hr drive for me too, but well worth it if there's some nice cars racing.
Nah, not Eastern Suburbs...East Gippsland!:)
We try to arrange a Car load or 2 to make the trip.
two of my mates are taking their cars down, an XA GT (if the engine is ready), and a purple TE Cortina .. i should be going too
maybee meet up or something ?

What's in the XA and the Cortina?
4V 351 cleavo in the XA GT of course.. and a NA 250 6cyl X-flow that has potential to run a low 13

Where abouts in Gippsland are you guys, we should all meet up down at Hazelwood Pondage in Morwell on a good day and have some fun skiing on the heated lake :) I love that place, in the middle of winter the water is 25 degrees :)
I would, but it's a lil bit far for me....like a few hours too far....back to uni on monday :rolleyes:

R32GTS4 : Thats a good idea! You need to talk to NOCKY-LS1, hes a mad keen skier/wakeboarder!:)
But Lake Glenmaggie is the chosen spot around here.
As for Calder....we'll wait and see.....

I love skiing, I'm not that good at it, what I am good at is crashing into the water after some jump across the wake goes badly wrong! :)
It'd be damn good if he's got a ski boat as well, mine's a Ramsay Lynx with a 308 midmount with direct drive and a dog clutch, no reverse, it seats 5 at maximum with 3 at the front and 2 at the back.
I've never been to Lake Glenmaggie, whats it like, where is it, is it heated as well?? The thing I like about Hazelwood Pondage is the water is pretty clear and clean compared to Lake Eildon and Lake Nillahcootie. What towns are you guys all in?
I'm in Mooroolbark which is between Lilydale and Ringwood out in Melbourne's outer east, Hazelwood is still 2 hours drive for me.

Glenmaggies good, water storage lake, up the back of Heyfield.....were all from this area, Nockys in Stratford....WRXTC is his ski buddy, he's from Sale.....

Hi, I drive an S15.
What things do I need to go and run at Calder?
Like I heard only under 11's will need rollcage, so since I will be running 14s or 15s, do I need to book in advance or wear a helmet or something like that?

Hehehe, i live right on the shores of the beautiful Hazelwood Pondage and adjacent Power Station! The shite i've seen pulled from those waters..... **shudder**
As for calder, im keen to go have a look at the next street meet, especiallt if aerovl is going to run...
I think he will BB, now to try and get some time off!

I live on the road that runs into Churchill, just past a little bridge that goes across the opposite side of the power station. Who do you know from Churchill??

I know someone that lives in Churchill, going away from the pondage as you pass the pub on the left turn into the first street on the right, just a few people there affiliated with the Lions Club (like me). My boss also used to live on the road opposite where the wall was built for the pondage!!
I seem to be meeting too many ppl that have something to do with that place!!
