Does anyone know if the shocks and springs on the S14 and S15 is interchangeable ?

From what I am told the fronts are but the rears are not as the S15's are shorter (I think it is shorter)...but the main point is no they are not totally interchangeable!

Yes they fit. You will need to change springs, shocks & swaybars if you want an S14 to handle like an S15, replace all rubber bushes as well. If you want to swap S14 bits into an S15 ...well...dont.

Bottom line, if you just change one component it wont work.

S15 springs are shorter than S14 units,but the struts are the same otherwise. same mounting points,same bolt pattern,and brake mounts (on the front).

a set of normal,off-the-shelf lowered springs for an S14 will sit an S15 at pretty much normal ride height,less than 1/2" drop.

the sway bars are identical,radius rods are the same length,but have two differences:the S14 rods are straight,and have a small brake cooling fin bolted to them.
S15 rods have no cooling fin,and have a small kink in the middle of the rod,to give some extra wheel clearance.

rear multi link setup is the same between both models.

Yep, I've got S15 front shocks in mine, the old ones are sitting in FR Drivers garage :)

you want some of it? I have the front TEIN shocks,std diff centre,std springs,original injectors,and his std sway bars sitting in various spots in my house. the injectors are in a bag next to the computer actually... *L*

Hey, I picked up the old GTR disks from Chris tonight.

If it makes you feel any better the aircon compressor is still sitting in the middle of my kitchen floor.

p.s. IMOA: when's the rest of the A/C going to come out? you've got lines,receiver,and such still there... wasteful weight!!! :-P
