Here it is folks.... my 2JZ engine mounts are pretty much done. The crossmember brackets are pretty straightforward in design, and are constructed out of 3mm plate steel. They are currently tack-welded in place; I have to remove the crossmember so they can be properly welded together.

Note that a 1JZ block was lowered into the engine bay and the brackets were constructed around it. We took a lot of measurements before we started, so the 2JZ should just drop in once the welding is finished!

The rubber blocks are from an 80 series diesel Landcruiser. These were chosen for their sturdy design and long studs. The original 5M rubber blocks are about the right size, but unfortunately the stud is about 5mm too short to work properly with the Aristo engine mounts, so I couldn't use them. :(
