KINGSPRINGS

I say this because
1) i work next door to there HUGE FACTORYS
2) i also use king springs
3) MARK THE OWNER OF (KINGSPRINGS) is a TOP BLOKE he will help out with what ever you need
4) Never had any trouble with the springs. (apart from Department of Transport) they dont seem to like low cars *wounders why* ?

I have Kings super low springs in my RX7..

They are great, lower the car heaps (15mm below legal), handle great, and they arent TOO harsh over bumps..didnt cost a lot either :)

If this is for a Series 1-3 Rx-7 then I recommend using Low's on the front and Super Low's on the back. This what I'm running and the car sits about 5-10mm lower at the back which is pretty much ideal.

I used to run Selby springs and swaybars in my LH Torry.
But i now run reset King superlows in my Calais and they are the best riding spring i have used.

yeah i use king springs as well.. i get them at 105 a pair which is just too cheap for aftermarket springs so im laughing.... i have about 5 king spring boxes here from other friends as well.. a few cars ive lowered on king springs and stock shockies still have excellent ride comfort.

just to change the note of this thread....

I've got Kings super lows and they've sagged. My car used to be 100mm off the ground unladen, now it's 90mm:( so I need to get some new ones so I stop using the bump stops as springs;)

10mm isnt much.
prolly normal over working life of a spring.

if your on the bump stops , well youve gone too low to begin with :)

Anyone got a working link or contact details for Kingsprings? I'm in Sydney.

Actually, people's suggestions would be nice too:

When I got my SiR it had Japanese Tannabe shocks (seized) and very low springs on it (we calculated them out to be approx 400 pounds on each corner).

Since then I put a Jamex package on, but it's way to soft and the ride height is too high for my liking.

I have one of two options, drop on the heavy duty ex-Japan springs and use the Kamex struts (12 months old) or get a new set of springs wound up. My only issue is that the rear heavy duty springs are a bit too low and that the rears have the potential to drop out of the cups at full expansion of the strut.

Anyone got any suggestions?

kingsprings.com or just look them up on the white pages online - they are at the gold coast.

lovels and k-mac springs are also good but from the posts on here kings have the market wraped up.

Not sure of the exact ride height, but I know the car is lowered 35mm...

I know about the roll centre problems with RX7s, but I just went off the advice of many other RX7 owners, and they said Kings super lows all round werent a problem with handling....besides, I cant complain about my handling at all, its fantastic :)

I'm just really surprised. I'd never heard of king springs, and I was gona stick some 1 or 2 in lower springs in the coupe, since I know pedders make them. Are king springs better than pedders (price, performance, etc)? If so why?

from what i can gather, king springs are one of the top of the line aussie brand springs..... very much better than that pedders crap, which is VERY expensive ($1700 for 4 springs and 4 shocks for the VK:rolleyes: )

mhm pedders aren't crap

i am driving super low pedders on my Falcon (2.5" or 60mm)

they costed me $320 (160 a pair) and 120 to get fitted and aligned
ToranaFan: $1700 is a bit much - i agree:(
