Has anyone done this yet?
I want to drop my car just a little bit, I need it to remain legal though.
I am a little worried about generating a whole heap of new harshness into the equasion though.
Any tips will be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Josh.

I have. It should still be legal....it only drops about 25mm all round. Ride is not much harsher than stock.
okay, mine is an s14, but anyhoo, i'm interested to know...
i'm about to throw a set of king springs in my car, but keep the shocks standard (for the time being at least) coz i can't afford much more. i was told that kingsprings came in standard, low and superlow for a 200sx. i was intending on going the low option, which i was told would be 1.5 inches (about 38mm). is this right, or are they (kingsprings LOW) 1 inch lower (as this would equate to your specified 25mm)
i'm not looking for ultra low of course, but would like a bit lower height without affecting the handling of the car (in a bad way). Is 1.5 inches too much without changing shocks (keeping in mind that front and rear swaybars are coming VERY soon, as well as front strut brace)?????
ADVICE PLEASE! Cheers :)

dorift, I think for the standard shocks, the LOW option would be better. Have you bought them yet? HOw much for?
ok, to clarify what i said a bit more....
sfifteen: you said that you used Kingsprings to lower your car 1 inch (25mm). When I enquired about Kingsprings, I was told that the options were:
-standard ride height uprated springs
-low (bringing the ride height down 1.5 inches [38mm])
-ultralow (around 2 or so inches)
I was going to get the low ones (1.5 inches) but am not sure if this is a little too much considering I'm not going to match the springs with uprated shocks. I haven't bought them yet, but I can get them very cheap through a trade deal.
My main point was that you said that you lowered ur car 1 inch, and I wasn't told that there was that option. Don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing, just a little confused and I've been too busy/lazy to ring up and find out for myself.
cheers for any advice!

I think for the S15 you can only go 1 inch lower but for the S14, it can go lower than 1 inch. From what I understand the shocks are different and the S15 one has shorter travel...I think?? Not too sure myself.
