not a chance ,sell it to a rotary owner(13b)
I concur with syn
Shameful combination
Ask toomuchboost about the t3/4 combo on his sr20 which has much smaller housings then that…

is a .86 rear housing to big on the sr20s. I remember reading that some one had a TO4 with a .86 rear and they said it was way too laggy. would .6 be better? I am after 350-400hp at the wheels but i still want it streetable. Think I would rather have it changed now if nessary while the engine is been built.

a .63 rear will only make 280-300 at the wheels,a .82 or thereabouts will support around 400 but it depends on what the compressor wheel flows as well as other things, like your exhaust manifold, exhaust system ,wastegate size, injector size and computer !!!!!also be aware that when you are chasing big power you are bound to get some lag,(not excessive) its the price you pay for power!!!

thanks syn.13b, i was getting alittle worried, I will have a dig at the .86 first, see how it goes
a friend of mine has a GT28 with 0.86A/R exhaust housing for sale. It is still brand new. email me if you are keen aygee@optusnet.com.au

have you ever thought about getting a .7 back with a .7 front, I am currently using this combo on my SR20,u get way more power than a .64 but u dont get as much lag as a .82-.86 and my turbo should support well over 350 at the wheels.

Im basically after the biggest i can go within reason i dont mind lag but nothing up around 6-7 thousand
1200
keep the exhaust side smallish..a stock 200sx type exhaust combo with a newer design type of compressor section is optimal
get the biggest gt25 u can (350hp i believe?) without resorting to a 0.86 a/r exhaust housing
you'd be surprised how much a standard type exhaust side can flow before it becomes choked
p.s AKTUNG silvia in latest zoom has just the turbo
mate had a sr20det 180b..
he went for the gt28 with 4" inlet and 0.86..he had major lagg problems and took it off. kicked in at 5500+
had frontmount and 15psi.
Mate the GT35 with the 0.7 compressor and 1.06 exhaust side is the go.. :)

Hey CnC that rear way 2 big man, it would b good if the motor is stroked 2 a 2.4 litre, even then it would still be a pig before 4500
I guess my 2.2 stroker and 4500 stall in the auto should offset it :)

Now I have no idea. ok, answer this. I am not sure what size the front is, but pretty sure the rear is .86. Have 45mm external gate, and all the goodies. Motor busted staight away on the dyno so I am not sure what it will be like to drive. Putting forges in now and currently looking for some 12a turbo injectors (have 13bt). I also have so noz kit sitting here but I don't want to use it on the street. I am after low 11's and wont stop till I get it but I still want to have it drivable (eg. staying in boost when I change gears). Appartently boost was coming in fulling about 5000rpm so I'm not too sure wheather to down size it to .82.
hmmmmmmm any suggestions.
anything I am forgetting?

I have a SR20 In a 808 and reccommend u use the .70 cack, .82 is still too big, with the .7 u get a hard hitting top end and boost comes on b4 4500

thanks yld 808, think I will have it changed now while it is off. does the .7 rear have the same manifold bolt pattern as a T3/4?

nah I think may b a bit bigger but u have 2 check, its a split pulse rear so ull have 2 have a manifold 2 suit.
hks kid
