I am seriously considering to get the Apexi S-AFC for my car.

I have read thru the manual of the S-AFC online. My car, Mazda MX6 Turbo 1989 is not listed. But that doesn't mean it definitely won't work coz I installed a Apexi RSM (the new one) to my car with very straight forward standard installation connections even tho my car wasn't listed in its manual either.

I know the only trouble with getting the S-AFC to work could come from the Airflow Meter. My car uses a Vane type, i.e, flap type AFM. And I was told that the voltage of my AFM raises exponentially with air flow rather than linearly. Therefore it's not compatible with the S-AFC. Does anyone know whether this is true? Those who installed one and got it to work, do you know what the voltage characteristics of your AFM is like?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
