Springs?

I got my piazza, and i was told that the suspension was dangerous, so i got koni big bore adjustables all round which cost me 800. I was told that if i wanted it lowered that id have to part with a further 600 for custom made king springs, as there are no factory springs made for piazza's. Is this a good price for the springs? Are there any alternative springs to use though as im a little short of cash!

Buy an angle grinder and chop those suckers!

I say this only because you have adjustable shocks that can be stiffened to suit the resulting shorter and lower springs... not otherwise recommended if you had stock shocks.

If you do this, don't cut too much. (start with one coil at the most). You can always chop off more, but it's hard to put back on :D

BTW I should point out there's more to making a car handle than adding better shocks and lowered springs.

Have you thought about geometry (both static and dynamic caster, camber, toe, on both ends), bushing compliance, weight distribution, squat, dive, etc???

Because if you haven't there's absolutely no promise that you're going to "improve" it at all...
