audio installation in civic vi 2001

Hey ppls.

just bought a mp3 player for the g/f's new honda civic vi (2001 hatch)

anyone here know how the f*&k to remove the dash to get to the factory stereo?? i spent bout 3 hours looking at the thing and still couldn't figure it out.

any help would be much appreciated

Pull things like ashtrays and swithces out and you should be able to find some screws here and there. Apart from that, there will be numerous strategically placed hidden clips around the place that you will just have to work out.

Hey dude..

sorry when i said i was there for ages looking at the thing... i meant pulling stuff out and unscrewing things and the like.

i couldn't work out a way to get it out without destroying the dash and leaving scratch marks round the thing.
