View Full Version : Odyssey dry cell alernative for 200sx?

I need to fit a small battery to run intercooler piping in my 200sx but i dont want to get the odyssey, does anyone know a good small battery like the odyssey that still supports a cranking stereo?

Ever thought about boot mounting the battery? Then you dont have to worry about battery size, and you can let whoever is doing the piping run wild. I did it in my car, and no probs.
I promise to email tomorrow with pricing on freight for that bonnet.

so all i need is one 4 guage power cable and hook up all the original cars power cables to that?

Yes man, 4 gauge is all you need, and a lot of patience. I hate running cables!!! I mounted the battery on the right hand side of the boot. This means that all signal cables from you head unit should run down the left side. To boot mount legally (in Qld) you still need to use a sealed battery, or run appropriate pipes should liquid leak out. And, this makes it much easier to run power for your amps!!

You need to enclose the battery and vent it to outside to prevent hydrogen buildup in the cabin.
