View Full Version : My Skyline Stolen today - White R33 in Perth
My 1995 White R33 Skyline GTS25t was stolen in the early hours this morning Tuesday 9th July from my house in the Southern suburbs of Perth. My house was broken into and keys taken. :( If anyone sees it can they report it to the cops straight away with the location. Any help is greatly appreciated...
It's got white 16" rims

Makes me think after all these stories about skyline's being hijacked or stolen, is it worth owning one? Seriously I know the car is cheap for its performance(the gts-t's anyway) but this thing about skylines in Australia is out of hand!!! Plus insurance is a real bitch.

Well the dog c*** that stole my car has been caught by police, but the car has already been stripped... no need to look out for it on the road anymore, thanks to all that did though, time to start searching for a new car once insurance comes through, which should have been 2 weeks ago :mad:. The guy got his house raided by cops and they found a photo of him and his accomplice standing in front of the car, the stupid f**kers. Anyway i dont know much detail yet, (how they knew it was him, where or when it was found, what has been recovered, etc) waiting for a phone call. So be wary of cheap R33 GTS25t (RB25DET 5spd) parts on the market in Perth or interstate. Aftermarket parts include:
Kakimoto Racing full exhaust
KYB Buzz Spec damper adjustable shocks (purple)

FET front strut tower brace
FET turbo timer

Sorry to hear about your loss, Getting a bit worried there seems to be a growing number of Performance cars being stolen from perth. Even heard about a case where someone got mugged for their keys at the drags, and a carjacking in kings park. Both R33's (getting a bit worried about my car as I am a r33 owner)
Come on Reality, you drive too slow for them to want your car - they would think your Skyna is a non-turbo

i was reading this in the paper the other day sux don't it
my 2001 proton satria was stolen the same way in sept this year but i seen it on the tv in a high speed car chase just before they drove into those big logs they have around the parks i only had it for a year.
they broke into my house stole everything and the spare set of keys for my car and my other car (i had to get the locks changed on that one).
they caught the two people that were driving my car but apparently they are not the same people that broke into my house and took it in the first place the police said that the people that took it handed it down to some junkies so they wouldnt get in to S*@t because they broke the guys legs next door to me when they came flying out of my driveway.
i thought it might have been the same guy but i dont think it is
though lost my car it was a writen off. :(

Nah my car was never found, apparently it was stripped and parts sold. ali g, damn... hope yours was insured, they also stole keys to another car at my house, remotes, house keys etc, so had to spend quite a lot replacing door locks, car ignition/boot/door locks, it was a real bitch. I'm glad it's over now, not a nice experience.
Yeah I've had my house broken into a couple of times, just kids looking for playstations and money rather than keys, thankfully.

end result is that I've installed a house alarm, sleep with all my keys on my bedside table, and keep spare keys in the secure lock up at work... Not to mention the friggin car alarms, immobilisers, custom kill switch, and last but not least the 4-foot knife i keep under my bed in the hope that someone tries it on. Nice world we live in aint it...

Ha ha. Yes he does. He must be pretty bright, getting his photo taken with stolen cars and all!! At least the little shit got a decent amount of time for his actions. Good to see justice working although it would have been nice to get your car back. Ooh well.
Good sheet, 7 and a half years should teach that penis a thing or two about doing it again. I hope to hear of more car thieves being put away like this example.
