If i buy a headunit from the U.S will it be able to pick up our radio frequencies?? am and fm
Also are there any other compatibility issues?

I don't see why not with the radio issue
most of the stereo stuff we use is from other countries dood

I'm pretty sure you won't have any troubles, as it's not the deck which determines what stations you can pick up, as you are tuning it manually. So if you want 104.1MHz, all you do it tune it in to 104.1MHz, same as you'd do with a locally-bought deck.

I'm also of the understanding that it's pretty much a standard that FM and AM cover a certain range of frequencies in all countries, someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.

You will be fine with a US car stereo, ever wondered why the vol/cd controls are on the passenger side? cos they are made for us!!!

from my understand, JAP radios have a FM from 76.0 - 90.0Mhz, all the us/euro places have 87.5 - 108.0

Cool thanks. I know the jap frequency range was different thats why i assumed the U.S might be as well
