just a quickie I'm going to start playing with bigger injectors on my rb20 I have a leanish spare ecu I'm going from the stock injectors 270cc to 550's will the s-afc have enough room to handle the bigger injectors with the leanish ecu I'm meaning the fuel has been cut back a bit for bigger turbo etc.
the s-afc has a 50% adujstment is this enough or should I through rom tune get the ecu leaned out even more
has any one doe this before.
also just basic calculations here the imput for the firing of the injectors opn the stock ecu is a percentage lets say 100% if I change injectors do I change the variables to 49% of the original figure.
timing is not an issue atm I'm just fiddling with this for some extra knowledge .
hope fully I might have a 550 injector and z32 afm package for the rb20 ecu soon.a s I have all the bits now.

On my car which comes with 450's, the biggest injectors a S-afc can account for would be 720's (60% bigger), thats with -50% across the board & the AFM modified for approx 10% extra flow. I personally went to 13BT 550's (22% bigger) and have trimmed the high map around -10%, but I had to modify my AFM because it ran out of range. (there's the other 10%)

In your case, 270cc - 550cc would be twice the size, I dont think the S-AFC would have a hope in hell by itself, if the z32 AFM flows at least 50% more then your current AFM, then the S-afc may, if my theory is correct, work. Even if you can modify the values in the other ECU, the AFM may run out of range & loose accuracy like mine did, though our AFM's are worlds apart so maybe not.

I hope this helped rather than just confused you more.

thanks I know you would reply I was wondering if any one else has done it. I read the auto speed article on the subject and it seemed very similar to s-afc.
I have the injectors so I suppose you suck it and see
