hello. this is just a quick bitch. this is not as big as most stolen topics here but i though i would just add it.

EVANS LUI**also a good learning lesson for me and other with people riping off these forums. DONT send any money upfront i think. its best to get it COD.

well i read a post on teamazm.com in the trading post section. i talked to the guy for ages and found he was in sydney. he was selling koni adjustables, eibach springs and clear tail-lights for an EK civic.
he was asking a reasonable price. i emailed him a lot and asked a lot of questions. i called him and spoke many times and he sounded genuine.

finally we set up a deal where i would pay $400 by cheque and then he would send the package and i would pay COD.
he said he didnt want to send full COD because he had been ripped off before. by the way i live in melbourne and he lives in moorebank NSW.

anyways i sent the money in bank cheque. i NEVER recieved the parcel. i called him and called him but he never gave me a straight answer. so many fu**king excuses as well. family troubles, crashed wrx, going out too much, stolen wrx. etc. etc.
i spent says going to every post office in my suburb looking for it. i rang NSW, aus. post and they have NO records of the package ever being sent.

well he thinks the package was lost by australia post and is claiming insurance and that is the latest excuse. but i think the real fact is that i have been ripped off.

**well it has been like 8 months and he dosent call and no updates. i call him and excuse after excuse.

evans lui you have taken a damn 2 week full time work wage while i was doing bodykits for mitsubishi dealers (heheh).
thats damn hard work for you to rip me off. thanks for calling me. i dont know how to get through to you. thanks mate. you may be in NSW and think you can ripp me off because im in VIC but i wont forget mate. please send me the money back as soon as you can.

I hate bastards like this, recently I almost lost 400 bux, cause i got this XW Fairmont with 12 months rego for 1900 bux.. and I was going to get the rwc for it. turns out it was going to cost me too much. anyway i asked this bloke to cash in the plates for me and give me the 400 bux back. he does this, so technically he has still sold the car for 1900 bux, and i have got a car for 1500 and 400 cash back.. but this wank thinks i handed him the plates so he can keep the money, so he thinks he has made 2300 bux from a car with no rego.. to cut a story short, people are ****ing assholes.

exactly the same happened to me. something was being COD'ed and when i got home it was in my letterbox... it even had a big bright yellow COD sticker on it. i told the guy i was buying it off that i had it but didnt need to pay for it and he called australia post. they told him it hadnt been delivered yet. he said 'er.. yes it has' and they said 'no it hasnt' and he said 'well i just spoke to the guy he has it sitting in front of him' and they admitted they screwed up.

australia post says you must sign for it before you take the package, and once youve signed then its out of their responsibility.

so really internet dealings should be avoided.

by all means advertise on the net, do the deal on the net but pick the item up, if they dont want to let you pick it then its probably dodgy

However nothing arrived.

I did so much to no avail.

The person claimed he was in Adelaide, but I dug into his details and found he was in Victoria, and his Account was in Keysborough.

Furthermore, seeing as it was 8mths and cops didnt do nothing, I spoke to a detective, and he transferred me to another cop, who found the a$$h0l3 and charged him.

He was jailed 3 mths.

Furthermore his around 19 and lives with his parents.

Now as much as I can get bad things done to him, his family or his house, I will not.

Reasons being, I comply with the law... (Most of the time :P), and secondly, not worth it YET.

If he complies with Restittution then good enough, otherwise, I'll just get his PC confiscated aswell as other belongings.

If that doesnt happen, then screw the court, I'd be done playing by the rules, and it would be time for me to set my own rules, and get the money Manually.

Ive found an easy way to do things is scam the scammer, so when he goes to cops and files a report, the cops then refer back to scams he has done and voila :)


The guy who scammed me ended up in jail for 3 months.

He was ordered Restitution.

If he doesnt comply, i feel a lawsuit coming on.

And if not, I'll fkin get my $6k MANUALLY.
No-One double crosses me, and if Evan Tried that on me he'd be a sorry ass.

I comply with the law, unless I feel the need to go by my own laws.

1. The matters involving <First Name> <Second Name> was heard and determined at the Dandenong Magistrates Court on 17 January 2003.

2. <Second Name> has been imprisoned for three months.

3. The magistrate issued a restitution order for all victims. This is a matter you cannot pursue in the criminal courts in Victoria. I advise you to contact a solicitor in relation to any proposed civil action.

4. I strongly suggest any attempts at restitution are conducted or overseen by a solicitor and not through <Second Name’s> family. I will investigate any reports of harassment, threats or extortion against the <Second name> family as thoroughly as I have in these matters.

I dont know how Evans Lui has gotten away with it so far.

And class action may lead to Seizure of all his Property, and his Assets may be frozen.

In some cases where he doesnt have assets he will end up paying people for up to 15 years of his life, from his Work payments or Centrelink benefits.


This is not a threat its a warning to him.

This is not a personal warning but a LEGAL warning.

If he carries on he will go down for:
Taking Money by deception/Depriving his victims of their money
Fraud
etc.


The number of cases, there are, it will take him an excellent lawyer to put him on 12 mth good behaviour bond.

If not then it will be A prosectuion (Charged, OR Jail Terms).

Last off, I wont do anything at all, unless his victims all decide to contact me.

Was long but he got a cheque which was cleared.

Does no one use those 3rd party companies that recieve both the goods and the money. They then send both along after they have both been recieved? They take a small charge (Bout 5% of the goods I think), but its safe.

I did this with a MD deck I got from the US, and I got it no probs. The thing didnt work, I think it got damaged in transit (Long way!!), but I recieved it properly, and only cost maybe $20 more at the most....

I did business with TUFF350 and he did everything i asked him to do and paid straight away, even though he wasnt to keen on the COD side. BUT THANKS LEROY FOR DOING IT.

I know ppl get ripped off and those ppl that do it need the nuts cut off.

so i suggest always get pictures and always get it COD unless it someone like dellow automotive or castlemaine rodshop they wont rip you off
