ok i know this is a forums for cars but my house was broken into and the little shit$ got away with a lot of stuff.
1 x Playstation2
10x Playstation2 games
1 x Playstation
7 x Playstation games
1 x Sony 5 disk DVD player
1 x Sony Slimline DVD player
50x DVD movies
75x CD's
silver jwelery
a swiss army knife with my name on it "Matthew van Riet" (was a present)

most important
HSV Limited Edition Watch (first Edition Blue faced) #187.

this was on the gold coast so probably will be flogged off on the coast as well. the only thing that will be recognisable is the watch as it is numbered and the dopes took it out of its numbered box when they stole it (so i still have the box). if anyone hears/sees someone selling one of these watches i would like to have a chat with them.

Sorry to hear about your house Loser Bob :(

Makes me think about what they stole that they are in there late teens, early 20's. If they were professionals they would have taken stuff like a tv, money, or a computer. I mean the playstation 2 stuff you could sell relatively well because its still very expensive but the other stuff I can't see the relation like the cd's etc.

Also from the stuff they took like cd's etc, they probably have dropped it in to cash converters or a pawn broker. My house got robbed seven years ago and out tv got stolen. At the time the television was detuned(for example channel ten was on channel 2 and channel 7 was on channel 9). Anyway we decided to look around and see if it was in cash converters. Yep exzactly the same tv with the same problems in Parramatta. Couldn't get the tv back as cash converters declared the arrival of the goods at any date chosen. So the police couldn't prove anything. Didn't have our driver's licence number on the tv either which didn't help.

I will tell my mates who own cds stores to watch for people trying to sell these cds.

what types where they? so i get a rough idea to tell them if strange people come in and what type of dvds and weird ones by any chance. It will make it a little easy to pick someone up.

One thing I always to is leave copies of my OWN cd's in the car, that way, if they get stolen, all they do it pinch CDR's ...
