Mazda R1000 ute

Does anyone know of and cheap upgrades for brakes on a Mazda R1000 ute? It has drums all round and it doesnt stop very well!!

Ignore everyone who says "Put Capella bits on" like it is a bolt-on - it isn't even close. ASk some-one who actually knows. I'm not some-one who knows, though... :)

Oh the shame... :O / :) . Seriously, I have been in a couple of these things and was disgusted... Even in a stock 808 (that stops and handles awfully) you can go "Too soft, wrong springs, too..." and work out what you need to do to make it better... 1000 utes on the other hand, were just plain wrong - dirty and wrong - so I've steered well clear ever since.
