Brake upgrade questions..

I've just got a few questions bout brake upgrades.

1. Someone told me that if i was to swap the brake rotors (for examples sake, if i put Commondoor VS brakes on a GJ Sigma) That when i do this i have to get a engineers certificate, is this true?

2. What sort of cheap brake upgrades can i do on a 82' GJ Sigma. I.e. Something that i jus tgrab off a car from a wrecker and bolt on, without *too much* modification...

If you change any brake components that are not normal factory upgrade items for that make of car then you should have a certificate.
There is such a thing as an approved upgrade, where a kit has been pre-approved for use.
