Just thought I'd put the good word in here, I work on two AU XR8 SuperCheap Auto 'V8 experience' drive day cars. I'd just like to thank DBA for their sponsorship of the cars and spread the word on how well the rotors have stood up to the most violent abuse imaginable.
While the engine, suspension and tyres have all been upgraded, the brakes remain in factory AU series 1 XR8 spec. Until we fitted the DBA slotteds, we could destroy the brake rotors in one session, but after fitting the DBA rotors, the rotors survived week after week of horrendous abuse.
To give you an idea of how hard these cars get run, a typical session will consist of ten hard laps of queensland raceway, with the car then pitting with VERY limited cool down time (the customers don't like slowing down), a 5 minute stop to strap in the next customer and change the in-car video, and off they go again... This is on full slicks, coil-overs and 302 cubic inches of screaming ford muscle.
