After fanging around in a few old Volvo shitters im amazed at how well they stop!! Even the old $200 Volvo we bought stops awesome!! I know they supposedly have 4 spot calipers and so on.

The question is, im thinking of somehow adapting the Volvo brakes to the LX. Does anyone know if anyone (CRS, etc) make a conversion kit??

As i pretty much have unlimited amounts of Volvo bits and peices im prepared to do a bit of fiddling and experimenting, im just unsure if it will be worth all the stuffing around.

I used to have an article on my HDD about this. Can't find it though. I seem to remember something about the mounting holes in the Volvo caliper being the same as the Holden. Don't hold me to that though. Also the Volvo uses a diagonal split system I think so there are two brake pipes to each caliper. I think the article said something about you had to make up a connecting pipe to connect the 2 halves of the caliper. I've never had a close look at Volvo brakes so I'm not too sure about this. Something to check anyway.
