Have you seen my VL

My Vl was stolen today outside Roselands Shopping Centre. between 11.50 and 1.30.

If anyone saw anything or if you see my car on the road please call the police straight away or call me on 0414 431 418.

It's a VL Calais, silver and grey two tone, here is a pic of the car so you know what to look out for.

The registration number is VCE-923

yeah it had immobiliser and alarm, but they weren/t working properly :mad:

your car sticks out pretty well against most VLs, wiht the dark grey bumpers, and funny looking wheels.

hope there isnt some ** racist comments removed** chopshop job going on with it, otherwise it would be tough.

nag nag nag the police to do somethign about it, because i bet you they havent done shit all.... probably thinking its an insurance job or something.

also, if your dedicated to getting your car back, put up a "have you seen my car" ad, in a similar fashion to those "lost pet" ones.... maybe someone has some info.

Hope you had insurance, and its a shame your anti theft didnt work 100%.

Her's got stolen found the next night in auburn....

Umm well i got some bad news, if u don't find our car within say 2-3 days.... i don't think ur eva gunna find it

But there is still hope.... but usually if its not found... it wasn't just taken by joy riders... there is usually some $$$$ reason behind it... and coz is a calais that makes its worse....

Hey dude sorry to hear about your VL. My pride and joy was stolen from my front yard after it's very first show in March. VL Calais, 17 chrome wheels, huge stereo, one off Recaro interior, Walky kit, worked 308 etc. The only thing I've gotten back is the number plates. I've given up hope finding my baby in one piece but I'm hopeful of getting parts back if not finding out who did it. They better pray everynight before they go to bed that I never find out who they are. There'll be one less car stealin abo in the world if I find out.

It seems to be ALOT of very nice Vls are getting taken..
Maybe there is a market for them or something..

If you drive a nice VL/calais/brock/Turbo whatever VL it is Make sure you do everything you can to make it safe becuase there is a good chance some F*ck will try take it..

PS: them "funny looking" wheels are VP SS rims with the centre caps missing..

Who is sherlock holmes!! Seriously though of course there is a market for vl's. As long as Holden is the king and vl turbo's are still plentiful, every holden fan in their late teens-early 20's will want one. I guess the fan fare of the vl has come from the Walkinshaw which most Holden fans would say is "King" of commodores due to its victories at Bathurst. Funny how they got beat by the Ford Sierras.

Problem is people spend to much money getting there 18's insted of paying for some Solex Locks and a good Alarm :)

Yeah thats pretty true..

1 in every 3 Spoons will open a VL :P or a Gemini or a VB VH VK..

Its worth getting the Solex Locks as a said! :)

I live about the closest to that area... and if it was stolen it would be coming into my surrounding areas if chances are...

An idea I heard is to buy sports pedals which can easily be removed (slipped on and off) with the little holes in them, when parking in a dodgy place stick a nail through the holes of the clutch or brake pedal and slide back into place.

Car thief in a hurry depresses pedal with pressure... nail through foot. The people doing this are probably only wearing thongs or ugg boots anyhow.
