I am thinking about converting my drums to discs on my VL, I was just wondering if any1 could tell me what is involved(costs, parts and labour)

the conversion is very straight forward and simple.
go to a wreckers and buy a diff, not too dear with only disks, pretty expensive if you want the vlt lsd centre too.
anyways, it is just a case of unbolting the old drum rear end, and putting the disk rear end up. You will need the handbrake cable too, as its different on the vl's.
When i did it to my mates car, we didnt change the master cylinder, it didnt show any biasing problems, and locked the wheels as it should (some times when you do disk conversions the back brakes lock up and the front wont due to shit biasing)
bleed the brakes and ur up and running again. I think it took me and one mate around and hour and a half to have the car together and swapped.
