vibration?

hi steve,i have a vt v6 sedan & since fitting a set of slotted discs to the front of it i seem to have a severe vibration/shudder when braking.the pedal doesn't pulsate or anything it seems to come back through the steering wheel mainly.i have had the wheels balanced several times but it has not helped.i have ebc green pads fitted all round.it may have nothing to do with the discs but i didn't have the problem before fitting the disc's.can you offer any suggestions or has anyone else had this happen?

Yes it has happened before and with the same pads. There is a thread in this brake section called "EBC pads and DBA discs"
I'm sure you will find resin deposits on the braking surface of your discs which are giving you this shudder problem.
Have a look at this thread and it may help.

thanks for that steve.what would you suggest as a replacement for these pads to stop the problem without spending mega dollars.
