Hi, ive just got my full bike licence recently. The nsr is a nice bike but it is two stroke. I would strongly recommed the nsr if you have motor know how, or else buy a workshop manual. Riding two strokes like the nsr is great fun (powerband). My friend is selling his zzr 250, 2000 model with 7,000km on it for $6,800.00 if ur interested. You could find an nsr at frasers in sydney champ. Good luck

I just bought a NSR 150 as my first bike. Its an excellent first bike I think. Its light, quick, looks good and best of all is damn fun :)

And you can pick them up brand spankers for fairly cheap....

NSR150's are cheap made bikes, made in taiwan or something, not jap made. BUT, for the price, it look s the shit and is the fastest learner legal bike u will get on. bit of bike knowledge would help because its a 2 stroke and can become a bit tempermental. Brand newie's should be fine but. heaps for sale in sydney, try parramatta bike shops, nearly all have got one. BUT if u want a real rush get a 2 stroke 250, rgv nsr or aprillia. These bikes are the real fun. and look like machines to. WRX eaters. and they hate it to when a little stroker blows em away. If u get on a 4 stroke 250 and u are lookin for a bit of thrill, U WILL BE DISSAPOINTED. Best thing u can do is go for test rides. have fun, bikes rule. youll luv em.

1fatvl is correct in saying that the nsr is cheaply made and the only reason that it is mearly fast is because of the 30 cm width of the bike and a rear tyre the size of a postie bike. I have the pleasure of learning on an cagiva which i would recommend to all.
