Yes, a friend's race car.
Good, made too much power and snapped a rod.
Yes, they are among the best in the country.
Sorry to hear that, they can sell you something new.
You're welcome.

KEEP IT CLEAN PEOPLE...
i worded this wrongly ?
i apologise if i did.
just wanting some straight up opinions as im considering sending my car to them.
thanks.
thanks for the reply coyote.
very straight to the point :)
both A777 and Grump2 cars are tuned there and they are both happy with the tunes done by chiptorque, my new toy will be tuned there when it is up and running
I would (and do) recommend Chiptorque to most of my friends for tuning. The chassis dyno room is probably the best in Queensland (proper fans/exhaust fans/ducting - Good widebands and 5 gas analyser), and Lachlan and Matt both know what they are doing.
My car is tuned there, and a number of friend's cars (with Haltech E6) have been tuned there (S5 RX-7, 13B 929, S4 RX-7 etc.). Matty knows the Haltech very well.
Sounds like the Supra is coming along nicely?? :)
this is just the news i wanted to hear.
thanks for the replys.
a777 : the supra is doing just fine :)
had the car at chiptorque today.
nothing but praise for these guys , very professional act.
we had some cam sensor dramas to begin with , but those where soon sorted out (thank god) and the car now idles rock steady , better than stock :)
managed to get a few power runs in , and boy was it sweet to see the car get up on those rollers after all this time.
happy to be driving the thing now without breaking down for some stupid reason :D
thanks to matt , lachlan , and some other pretty cluey dude whos name escapes me atm :)
cheers !
Glad it all went well! :D
Now, when do I get to see the Supra? :p
whenever you like !
check pm :)
Rz,
Would that other guy have been Stefan? Haven't used Chiptorque yet but I've spoken to Matt and Stefan on the phone. Both are very clued in.

So who tuned your car? Was it Locky?? Chiptorque are the only ones ever to touch my car and I have nothing but praise for them. Lachlan is a marvel to watch.

Lachlan is the only one that tunes my car. I have nothing but praise for them.

I had my commie tunned there and they did a great job. A friend of mine with a VL Turbo had his tunned at another well know commdore tuning house (cough*05*cough shop) and the tuning job is well below par.

what sort of computers are u using?? etc std comp remapped chip by chiptorque? as im thinking bout getting one of there chips to run in my std comp for vl turbo, they said they can map it to suit 036 injectors,t4, big cooler, etc, any comments?
RZ,
any specific problem that you can share about the cam sensors you'se had problem with?
so i know what to look out for when the E11 gets installed.
cheers
dk : nope , he was working on something else.
TurboVS : lachlan was there for a few runs , matt did all the tuning.
phildmtmartha : if your planning big mods , get a programmable ecu , it will be cheaper in the long run.
MAZMAN : you shouldnt have a problem , all we found where some bad connections , which took some time to locate , after that things where fine.
