Is it compatible with aussie telstra, optus vodafone etc?
Is it a colour screen?

yeah it compatible with all networks here, i am using Optus card in there now! It's not colour, it's like the a300 with dual LCD screen's, flip phone on front lcd is blue, inside is green and keypads light are yellow.
