V8 conversion

I am thinking about a lexus quad cam V8 conversion with auto in my 89 model 2wd hilux, it will have airbag suspention eventually. has anybody done a conversion like this befor? Any idea about cost? what other work has 2 b done besides engin mounts etc? any help would b appreciated.

i have a friend who is currently doing this but i think it may be a *little* over the top for what you are asking.....he is using the full front clip from a crown and has built a whole new chassis with a shortened 9" rearend, bagged, bodydropped and chopped....keep an eye out later in the year when it should be finished
