Could anybody tell me exactly what is involved in swapping 5 stud hubs and Skyline brakes onto a 4 stud S13 silvia/180SX???

I have heard far too many conflicting stories.

i have done this on the frnt of my silvia
everything bolts on, redrill 5stud rotors to 4stud or buy dba blanks and drill them.

will need 12mm spacer to fit std sr20 rims with them
or you can bolt on s14 control arms and hubs 5stud and rims etc

im not sure about rear. i think s14 rear might go on but the shock absorber mounting will be different i think. duno if r32 brakes will fit on the s14 hub though. the s14 rear brakes are hardly worth upgrading from s13 on their own.

probably better options with fitting up a 5stud rear r32 hub.

Thats what i planned on doing

I dont want to muck about with re-drilling discs

double check that the rear 5stud hubs go on without dramas

i think some brakes from certain skylines use a drum on the rear, the z definitly does.
main problem is the shock absorber hookup i suppose

some people say the s14 control arms are a bit longer but my friend has fitted them without any problems, they seem the same
while the s13 ball joint will go into the s14 hub i also read that there is a small difference and they do not fit perfectly so this is not a good idea.

btw this isnt the guy who used to go by the anabolic nick on irc, perhaps ozorg or ausnet is it?

chris if u decide to drive s13 u better do 13bt conversion straight away :D

btw isn't S14/15 calipers are better than r32/r33 skylines calipers as I read it somewhere else..

no, s14/15 calipers are cast iron instead of alloy
heavier
