View Full Version : Ferodo DS2500 Fitted
Just a heads up for anyone looking for another street/race pad to try. I just fitted these to my car and so far so good. They get better as they get hotter but still provided no sqeals when cold and stopped the car fine out of the driveway this morning before they had any heat in them.
I will be running them at Oran on the 23rd and at Wakefield on the 30th so I will report back with hopefully glowing results from the track.;)
As promised, a track report on the DS2500's fresh from Oran park yesterday. They are pretty impressive pads, bear in mind that the weight of car and driver is around 1100kgs. The pads don't produce anywhere near the amount of dust that I was expecting so the front wheels looked relatively clean.
After a lap or so the pads came up and got better and better as each session went on. I highly recommend them for a dual purpose pad and they are very quiet, no squeaks or funny noises. :D
Thanks for the feedback, after Im finished with my RB74's and Comp2's I will definitely give them a go. How much did you pay for them? From memory I got quoted $230ish for an axle set at the front, that was for a s14 200sx.

The money is about right and they are good pads - no doubt
Although you could buy a set and then some of the RB74s for the same money

Hi Nucci,
I paid more ($380) because I needed them ASAP and had to get them brought in from Italy as they are the only race type pads available for my car but I know other models are cheaper. I have driven on the RB74s on a couple of other cars and they are also good. It feels as though these pads have better initial bite than the RB74s and are certainly very consistent once warm.;)
