Brakes for a NA Fairlane

I have just purchased a NA (1990) Ford Fairlane, it's a bit of a boat and the std brakes are glazed and worn, I have just purchased 4 DBA slotted rotors and still need Pads, What pads would you recomend? It will just be used for spirited road use, nothing too serious, but i do want better than std brakes. I have heard that some old sets of bendix standard pads (the ones with abestos) would be suffient. Any other ideas?

Old Bendix asbestos based pads are long gone unless you can find someone with old stocks......if you do they will be glad to get rid of them cheap I'm sure.

Well I installed DBA golds all around on my fairlane about 4 years ago. I would advise you to get Pagid blue pads but unfortunately they don't make them for the front anymore :(
Other than that I guess you are stuck with Bendix for road use. EBC greenstuff seem to chatter a lot.
