Im upgrading to an AP 330mm 4 piston front end and can get a hold of ONE brembo caliper from a 2002 STI.
1)How hard is it finding another single caliper?
2)How much would another STi caliper cost?
3)How hard would it be to make brakets for a custom install?
4)Would I be better getting a 4 pot for the rear?
Cheers

Brembo STI rear calipers are about $640 each new inc pads.
You'd need an adaptor bracket to suit and need to remove the backing shield to accommodate the larger disc.
You also need to have thick linings bonded for the handbrake as the internal drum diam is different.
I assume your fitting it to an earlier WRX.?

I'm a little confused here.....you're upgrading the front brakes to APs, so does that mean you are fitting the STi front brakes to the rear of the car? Or are you after an STi rear brake caliper?
If you are after a single, right hand side rear caliper there is one going on eBay....

Thanks for the replies. $640 EACH! ouch
willsy01: The calipers/disc on ebay is the reason why I have posted this!
I have just found out that porsche brembos from germany on ebay are VERY cheap.
Thanks again,
Vic
