g'day,

i beleive i've got a set of familia gtx discs/calipers/pads on the front of my BD 332 (same as KA laser) and am looking at another upgrade.. i think dba slotted rotors is the go, but i am wondering about pads.. my mate's gti-r has the same size calipers but his pad size is much larger.. is there a larger size of pad i can use on the mazda without changing my caliper? i am looking to use race brake's rb74 pads, but will substitute brands if it means getting a larger pad surface area :)

...anyone? i have read that you can trim HQ pads down to fit in VL calipers.. I'm basically chasing the same sort of thing for a GTX.
