There's a guy who races a turbo Hayabusa at WSID with 410rwkW according to a small interview in SPEED.

There are TWO guys who race their Turbo BUSA's at WSID.

yeah I've seen a few of them up there. A silver one, a black one and a red one spring to mind. The red one is the 410kW one. It would take quite an experienced (and yes, mental) rider to handle that sort of power on a bike!

im not experienced rider.. ie no licence yet, this year im hoping.

but wouldnt keeping the front wheel of something like that on the ground be near impossible unless you ride from a seat mounted where the screen usually is??

Daniel Bezina (spelling) is part owner in the motorcycle custom shop that is doing them. you migh remember him for ITS MAD, the suzuki swift GTI converetd to cultis 4WD turbo. The bikes all came out of penrith, just some kids form the west trying to do their best

One of them turned up 1st week of the WSID street meets in king G style work pants and workboots!!! yeah, 300km/h in freakin workpants... that aint gunna be pretty

i think its jamie bezzina who's turbo busa is in the new moto magazine.. red busa, lots of custom work.. looks nuts. be a hell of a handful to ride.. and its street registered pushing 500HP at the wheels.. low boost is set at 18PSI..

Yeah guys, Jamie is on the 410 KW (at rear wheel) red one, Snakes name is actually steve, but is known as snake, and he sold his black turbo busa (300hp that he rode basically every day) a few months back - bastard, i was gonna get to ride it soon

What kind of 1/4 mile time does something like a 410 rwkw bike put down?

Phark me, that is just insane, you would need to have a spotter travel a couple of clicks ahead of you on the highway to make sure there is no traffic every time you want to twist the right wrist a little.

I would hope a few pairs of brown undies and a g suit are included when purchasing such a vehicle

Unless they (Hayabusas) are set up specifically for drags (ie: lengthened swingarm, wheeliebars etc etc) I think they run about 0.5sec quicker down the quarter than a stock one, which 'only' does the quarter mile in the high nines. This is solely due to traction (or lack thereof!)

Yes, brown undies would be a requirement, as would a strong heart! :D

They are running in the low 8 second bracket with jamies busa, they only run it at about 300hp at the drags, anymore than that makes it a slower time. Thats with a lengthened swing arm and a semi slick tyre.

jamie is an awesome rider, my dad 9snake) took his turbo GSX1400 out the other week and ran a 10.4, jamie took it down and ran a 9.4!!!

I spoke to dad/jamie the other day, and they are wanting the busa to run over 200mph on their next trip out to WSID

the first half of the track is either a spinning rear, or on the back wheel only!!

but it could do that in any gear anyway!

God no!! He wont let anyone touch it haha which is understandable, its kind of a show bike, he also has a VTR1000 as his daily.

It is one sweet bike though.
It did 198kw at the rear wheel, how insane is that!!!!
