What pad is it that you can cut down to fit the vl turbo caliper to gove a bit more pad area?

I think it is el/ef falcon pads, where you nip of the corners to fit them.

on the autospeed artical (or the first bit you can read) it appears as if they are using a Holden HX Kingswood pad but im not sure if thats what they use in the end.

As a subscriber reading the whole article...

The only one they try is a HX pad (DB1023) in place of the standard VL DB1085. It does require some minor hacksawing/filing to get it to fit though.

The increase is not huge but was measurable according to the article.

And you can also use the XF pad DB1075
This is available in Ultimates...DB1023 isn't
