Hey all just upgraded my front brakes on my crx to 330mm discs and brembo 4 spots... I want to upgrade my rears as well.. But my concern is the handbrake... Ive been eyeing off the r32 rear callipers with a custom hat and disc perhaps 300mm? What would u all recommend?? Thanks
Goddamn, 330mm discs on the front of a CRX? I just hope you have the rubber to grip the road with that much braking potential (nice work! I envy you...) :)
Sorry I can't offer much advice because there'll be a bit of custom work involved, but I really just wanted to post a congratulations. I'm not clueless, but I'm not a brake specialist - so hopefully someone can give you something to go on in here. Sorry if some people see this post as pointless, but I give credit where its due.
are you making with this car??
front brakes do 70% of the braking, do u get much fade after lots of hard braking? if not, dont bother upgrading the rear. fronts should be fine.
maybe the s2000 brakes would bolt on and be a cheaper upgrade ?
get an adjustable prop valve. That should suffice (when properly set up).
