Experimenting is what I am doing at the moment.

Would like to have a chat with someone who knows more about it than I do, I have been playing around with rebound and preload trying to improve the feel of the bike, just trying different settings and seeing what happens on the road.

Have settled on my preload, now fiddling the rebound at the back - I always take the bike on the same road loop so I can better remember what the different adjustments make the bike behave.
