hey guys,
Looking to upgrade my power figures and the law states for it to be engineered i will need to upgrade brakes (common sence really). Im getting a FTO front cut which i have spoken to Just Jap about and they are supplying front struts and brakes along with the rear brakes. My questions are simply this,
1) Seeing as tho i can use the FTO front struts in the mirage, that means the FTO brakes will ne ZERO altering to fit?? correct??
2) I cannot find out if my rear stub axle for the mirage will allow the FTO rear disk to fit straight on, will either the axle or the disk itself need to be machined to fit on properly or are they a simple swap over part??
3) Would i then also need to upgrade my brake booster, or is a matter of changing the valves at the master cylinder to accomodate the change from drum to disk on the back??
Im not much of an expert on brakes but im hoping someone out there will be able to help me out.
