Straight up..it for the Army Reserve. Not everyones cup of tea but then I am absolutely sure your ideas about the Army reserve are inaccurate.
The positions I'm interested in filling are in Pymble in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney..but we have depots in Newcastle, Erina (Central Coast) and Dee Why as well. (If the want to check out something thats closer to you either www.defencejobs.gov.au or 131901)
I am seeking trade qualified Vehicle Mechanics (would prefer Heavy but we can convert your light quals to heavy with a few courses) and Fitters & Turners/metalworkers (same deal we can convert certain quals).
I'm not gunna bullshit you about you do it for the mateship or the pay or some other shit...Its about what you get out of it....for me its being fucking fantastic at what I do and doing out of the ordinary stuff.
We also do apprenticeships but 2005 applications have closed...if you are interested in these I would suggest joining as a driver for the year...it will help your application heaps next year.
