im trying to do a cheap brake upgrade on my sprinter. im also retaining a 13" rim, so ive decided im going to use the JDM spec rotor. this leaves me with a caliper that is too narrow to fit over the wider vented disc.

whilst i was temporarily using a celica strut while my coilovers were being made, i noticed that there is probably enough room to re drill and tap the holes that mount the caliper to suit the narrower sprinter caliper mounting brakcet.

it just seems that drilling and tapping 4 holes in total would be a cheaper way out than having a caliper bracket made.

was also wondering if i can buy calipers brand new from that australian manufacturer (forget the name)un drilled in the same way a you can buy rotors?

maybe this is dodgy.. let me know.

I cant actually follow you correctly, which part is too narrow? with the brake pads in there isnt enough space between them to fit the caliper over the rotors?

Anything else would only be an alignment thing which would come down to the cradle or stub axle and not the actual calipers itself wouldnt it?

PBR calipers? Very much doubt that you could buy them undrilled.

PBR wouldn't supply the caliper for the Jap market anyway
Best you could hope for is finding another local corolla caliper to suit vented disc with the right mounting
