Front right pad(s) started squealing at me yesterday which means new pad time obviously. As the title suggests, is it necessary to have the discs machined before the pads are fitted?
Currently, there is no shuddering or pulsing under brakes and the discs seem to be in OK condition......no scoring, slightly uneven surface which is to be expected, no heat spots etc etc.
Discs are DBA slotted which have had Bendix Ultimate pads stopping them.
Thoughts?
