Lots and lots of options, depending on how much money you have to spend, how much stuffing around you're prepared to do, and whether or not you have a problem with putting Datto parts in your car...
Easiest, simplest, most cost effective brake upgrade - Corona XT130 or RT132. Pretty much bolt in, you'll need struts + brakes + steering knuckles out of one of those, you'll be keeping your KE30 strut top and top spring holder, and you'll need lowered AE86 springs.
You can also go with RWD Celica struts + brakes, not sure of the details though. Have heard of other RWD Toyota upgrades, but again not sure.
Common upgrade, you can go for XT130/RT132 struts, Pug604(?) discs, Landcruiser/Hilux calipers. Very big, very effective, very heavy.
Effective and light (and this I've only heard of, never seen), Silvia S13 struts, brakes, lower control arm etc.
Aside from that there are quite a few options, another one I've heard of uses Commodore brakes, but not sure of details.
With most of these you'll have a problem of positive camber (due to different kingpin angle), you can help correct this by using Mitsubishi Sigma/Scorpion control arms, they are a bit longer and pretty much bolt in. You'll just need to mod the inner bushes a little.
vt or vx commadore struts fit straight in, the lower arm bolt is the same the tops fit, u just need to addapt ur tie rod ends.... big brakes for a rolla

Hey rob,
what effect did this set-up have on you camber, did it stay the same or change?
Cheers
