Aleon Solutions is a leader in IT Infrastructure and security products and services and is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to join the infrastructure services team.
We are looking for a person with a W2000 / 2003 MCSE who is able to build a rapport with clients and an excellent ability to communicate ideas. This is a customer facing role in which you will be expected to own and manage client relationships and expectations delivering technical services. The role involves maintaining existing client infrastructure as well as identifying new client requirements and opportunities.
This role is for Engineers with 3 to 5 years experience with MCSE 2000/2003 certification.
You will be responsible for:-
• Network development and upgrades
• Operational support for server based infrastructure to clients as well as problem and case resolution, creating and maintaining documentation to Aleon's standards.
The successful candidate will have:-
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years solid experience in multi-server, multi-domain environments,
• In-depth technical knowledge of W2000 and W2003
• Working knowledge of Exchange and Active Directory (at design level)
• Understanding of WINS, DHCP, DNS and MS clustering
• Antivirus software knowledge
• Knowledge of applications including IIS, SQL, ISA and IAS
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Have a professional attitude and appearance
• Relevant MCSE 2000 / 2003 Certification
It would be desirable if the successful candidate had:-
• A working knowledge of Linux, Citrix
• Cisco knowledge or certification
• Veritas backup
