i consider myself a fairly big supporter of F1, not a fanatic, but I usually never miss a cace, however, I have never heard of either of these drivers??

Karthikeyan has been around for ages - and people thought Webber was old when he finally got into F1, Kathikeyan is already 28! He was touted many years ago as India's great hope for a racing driver, but he never really hit the dizzy heights of Championship-challenger. More midfielder, i expect he'll get out-done by Tiego.

At least Monteiro has some wins under his belt, and was runnerup in the Formula Nissan World Series in '04, combined with some Minardi testing, he may end up not being too bad. He's also 28 though, and I suspect has some substantial backing from his Portuguese backers, and the fact his boss last year was Trevor Carlin....... :yup:

We hear so little of the lesser European open wheel races over here which is where most of these drivers come from.
Every keeps saying 'Kovalainen' too but unfortunately Renault have him stitched up in a contract so he won't be driving for Jordan or Minardi.
