How-Dee.
Supersprints in NSW… is there a one off title meeting, run by CAMS or someone like, via hosting track/club ? Or is supersprinting keep at club level, with only club championships be contested ?
I’m interesting in finding out about any “title” style meetings which might be run for supersprints.
Thanks
Andrew
Alfa Romeo, HSV/HDT, WRX and Southern Sporting run their own inter-clubs championship. Works very well, although the Rexy boys occasionally wimp out and do some grassy field motorkhana stuff on their own :D
There is a NSW Supersprint Championship - well, there used to be, not sure what they do now. I am pretty sure the NSW Road Racing Club runs those rounds. Maybe try http://www.nswrrc.com. Otherwise it really depends on which club you're with and who they run with.

There is a state series. MGCC newcastle ran the first round at eastern creek. NSWRRC run one or two, the MX5 club does one, as does the mini club and I think also the north shore SCC may do one too.
On checking the cams caledar online, only rd 2 and 6 come up, rd 2 = 17th april MX5 club at wakefiled. rd 6 = EC, 14th aug, with the ARDC. For more details I guess contact the cams state office.
HTH,
Michael.

Occasionally ?
Are you running on the 17th ?
Given the shitload of changes i've made to my car would it be ok to run it at a supersprint (as a kind of "test and tune" and to get some time in the seat) or are dedicated 3J cars frowned upon ??
Cheers,
Paul...
You can run whatever you like Paul. You'll be in Type 3 2-3L category.
Type 3 is basically stuff built up to 3J regulations.
Brenton - wish I could, but lack of $$ is really hurting me. Finalising a job hopefully this week or early next, which means back into it from the next round hopefully. I'm dying to get back out there......as well as fiddle with the car.
Paul, you might be better off doing a practice day at EC instead....you can run for as many laps as you like then, slow or fast etcv etc. Means you gotta take a Friday off work though.
Hey Paul, I have been thinking about runing the Sunny at the May round next month...could be fun mate ;)
I'll still have my crap tyres on....but I should have made some changes to the cooling system before then...I hope.
I will definatelybe doing my OLT (again) prior to the June State round, but it is doubtful at this stage that I will run the round......Finances are being re-directed at the moment into other areas.
Yeah, i might try to make it Mark - let me know if you are a definite... :)
I'm concerned about setting up the shocks mainly, hopefully the new calipers will ease the strain on pads too... ;)
I know where you're coming from on the $$$$ front too, i'm busting my arse saving for a new house...
Nafe - thanks mate... :)
