I might have the opportunity to get one of these kits for a datsun. Are these worthwhile for some cheapish HP or should they be steered clear of ?

hmm whats the fuel delivery system?
The manifold looks a bit average. It looks more like a U pipe that hangs off the stock manifold.
It'd have to be real cheap.

Yeah it does hang off the stock manifold. For fuel delivery it just switches the cold start. All a bit dodge, but it would be a platform to work from.

The turbo is shagged....whatdya reckon..nothing over $200 or so ?

It barely sounds worth the effort. You'll just end up replacing everything anyway.
