Hey guys

I have a couple of female friends staying with me for a couple of months. They're over from America on holidays and need jobs pretty desperately. If they can't find anything within a couple of weeks, they're gonna try their luck at fruit picking down the coast...and for obvious reasons I don't want that :D

Does anyone know of any positions either at their work or anywhere else that might put on a couple of nice girls for a couple of months?

They have tax file numbers, computer and retail experience. They're 22.

"picsorban" comments aren't really appropriate - this is pretty important guys :)

Let me know.
Cheers

Adrian

I'm sure 153 Elizabeth St Brisbane would hire them or maybe 217 Brunswick St (cnr Alfred St) Fortitude Valley would be also be a good stop.

Try a contracting agency, http://www.sladegroup.com.au/ is a place i worked through for a year. Send resume in, go in for an interview and the next week you should be working. Excellent rates, the jobs are kind of boring but the money more than makes up for it!

I worked in Melbourne, but they also cover Sydney and Brisbane.

Can get you work for 1 week, 1 month or a year.

Can they pour a beer?

Do they have an RSA that allows them to pour a beer?

Costs $88 and takes 5hrs.

If they're working somewhere <30days, or somewhere that doesn't trade after 1am, they won't need one. As far as I know, they're only mandatory to areas affected by the 17-point plan (i.e. inner Brisbane).

I know a club owner in brisbane that may hire them, but it really depends on their looks.

Threads started in this section have to go through a 24hr approval process, or something, AFAIK ;)

They're living at a backpackers now and have picked up a few little odd-jobs one day at a time. One's got an interview somewhere on Friday, the other looks like she's found a data entry job that she'll take, if training will be provided on-the-job.
