I've got to reshell the Camira rally car after a roll, bummer. I'm wondering if I need to swap brake master cylinders. Brakes currently feel rubbish - hard pedal, no great stoppage, too much rear bias.
At present, I've got some Honda MC of unknown diameter on the stock master with VB-VP Commodore calipers all round (54mm front piston, 38.1mm rear piston), Tilton adjustable pressure lever in the rear circuit, DS2500 pads front, Ultimates rear (to try and further limit rear bias), front disks are 273mm x 20mm vented, rear disks are solid, don't know the dia, probably stock early Commodore.
On the stock Camira, the MC is 13/16 (20.64mm), front caliper piston is 54mm, rear drum cylinder is 20.6mm.
Would the stock MC work with the Commodore calipers, provided the pressure limiting valves are removed from the master cylinder? If not, what size MC should I use, and what would fit the booster?
